ALL ABOUT VSSC floor hockey

This high spirit and zero-contact league gives you an outlet to play hockey without the high cost of ice! If you’re looking for a truly awesome cardio experience this season with a focus on fun, then our leagues are for you! Games are played with official-size plastic hockey sticks and everyone’s favourite orange ball. Where possible, teams are split into divisions with other teams with alike calibre.

HIGHLIGHTS + LeAGUE DETAILS

Floor Hockey is available on Monday and Wednesday nights.
Floor Hockey games are 55 minutes in length.
Floor Hockey plays across Greater Victoria.
Floor Hockey runs September – December
Rosters & Schedules will be available to registered players at least two (2) days prior to your first game.
Team and Individual registration available for all Floor Hockey Leagues.

Skill Division & Roster

Choose between recreational or Intermediate skill divisions.
Mixed Gender Floor Hockey Leagues: Teams must always play with a minimum of 1 man and 1 woman on the field.

rules & equipment

All games are self officiated.
Players may bring approved hockey sticks.
Teams are encouraged to bring their own goalie gear. Goalie gear can be provided if required.
